Aaron

Growing up in Toms River, New Jersey, a passion for the water was instilled in me at an early age. I spent countless hours fishing both inshore and offshore. Whether exploring the backwaters of Barnegat Bay or running east out to the canyons, I developed strong boat handling skills and a deep respect for the water. Those early experiences shaped my understanding of tides, weather patterns, and local marine ecosystems. Knowledge that continues to guide me in every aspect of my work today.

At 19, I earned my captains license and turned my passion into a profession. Since then, I’ve worked across multiple corners of the marine industry. From running private boats and charters to throwing lines on a tugboat in New York Harbor. My time on the tug sharpened my discipline and communication skills, where precision and teamwork are critical in one of the busiest waterways in the country. Whereas Running charters strengthened my boat handling even further and taught me how important it is to create a safe, enjoyable experience for every client, no matter the conditions.

Today at South Jersey Yacht Sales, I provide hands-on support both on and off the water, including sea trials, vessel deliveries, and owner instruction. I take pride in walking clients through their boats step by step, helping them feel truly comfortable at the helm. Whether it’s a center console, express boat, sportfishing yacht, or cruiser, I approach each one with care and attention to detail. For me, it’s not just about selling or running boats. It’s about creating a smooth, trustworthy experience and building lasting relationships with clients to bring confidence to every step of their boating journey.

Connor

Hailing from Linwood, New Jersey, my love for fishing and boating has been ingrained since childhood. With nearly 8 years of experience working as a mate on the local head boats and years of fishing with friends, I've honed my skills on the water. After graduating from Mainland Regional High School, I pursued higher education at the University of Rhode Island, delving into Environmental Economics and Marine Affairs. My time in Rhode Island not only enriched my academic knowledge but also deepened my passion for inshore and offshore tuna fishing, which I've seamlessly brought back to New Jersey, yielding significant success.

Whether it's tackling yellowfin tuna on small boats with spinning rods or mastering the art of back bay flounder fishing, I strive to expand my expertise with every excursion. Beyond fishing, I find joy in spending quality time with family and friends, embarking on adventures with my dog, working on my boat, and capturing moments through photography. Operating my own 21-foot center console, I also enjoy pushing the boundaries to reach the tuna grounds, always driven by the pursuit of large pelagic species. When the weather does not cooperate, you can be sure to find me plugging the sod banks for striped bass or jigging for fluke in the bay.

Joining the South Jersey Yacht Sales team presented an exciting opportunity to merge my passion with my profession. Eager to continue my journey in the industry, I saw this as a chance to connect with like-minded individuals and immerse myself in what I cherish most. I'm committed to providing clients with a seamless, enjoyable experience as they embark on their boat buying adventure. It's an honor to be part of this process, and I'm thrilled to help others discover the unparalleled joy of life on the water.

Jeff

Growing up in Brielle, New Jersey just footsteps from the Manasquan River, Jeff’s love of the water and boating began at a very young age where he began competitive sailing and participating in numerous fishing tournaments.  Jeff’s family fueled his passion for the water as they logged countless fishing trips and sailing adventures over the years.  Together with his family, Jeff has owned numerous boats including three Bertram’s, a 35 Cabo Express and four different center console models. 

Jeff’s passion for boating led him to earn his Masters Captains License by the time he was a senior in college. After graduating from Monmouth University with a degree in Business Marketing, Jeff went on to start his own marine service company.  His drive for knowledge led him to The Chapman School of Seamanship where he graduated from their Marine Surveying Program.  Today, Jeff shares his love of boating and passion for fishing by assisting his clients in finding the boat of their dreams.  

Brian

Brian has always had a passion for the ocean and boating. Brian grew up in Sea Girt, New Jersey which provided him with the opportunity to thrive in the coastal lifestyle. He was a member at Manasquan River Yacht Club where he enrolled in the sailing program during his middle school years. Sailing during that time gave him a better understanding of how liberating the water can be. Brian attended Manasquan High School and then later Monmouth University where he focused on Business Administration. His love for the outdoors and boating led him to Jupiter, Florida where he spent 15 years building up and selling a few different businesses. He owned a variety of center consoles, competed and won numerous fishing tournaments during his time in Florida.

Brian moved back to New Jersey in 2015 where he started and sold a few more businesses in the area. He is now married and resides in Wall, Township. In his spare time, you can find him offshore at one of the canyons tuna and shark fishing.

Corey

My passion for the water began early on, spending my summers hanging around the docks and fishing for flounder and stripers in the back bays behind Margate and Ventnor NJ. At the age of ten, I was offered a position in a local tackle shop in which my duties consisted of prepping rental boats, selling bait, and filleting fish that customers would bring in. Work? Nope- this was fun! After a few years of working with rental boats, I moved on to another tackle shop and full-service marina nearby in Margate as well. I would often pick up work as a mate on some of the local charter boats and head boats and had some opportunities to run a few of my own trips as well. Boating and fishing quickly turned into a lifestyle for me, and I knew that I needed to make a career of this if I wanted to be happy in life.

Ten years at the marina, a captains license, and a business degree from Florida Atlantic University, soon lead to a career in sales management for the well-known Bass Pro Shops in Atlantic City, NJ- where I have been for the past 5 and a half years.  Responsible for boat sales and service, marine accessories, and fishing tackle, I was in a position to be doing what I love. Throughout the past ten years, I was also able to build experience through running privately owned vessels as a side job, focusing primarily on both inshore and offshore fishing.  A few of the boats I have had the pleasure of running include a 29 Stamas, 32 Blackfin, a 39 Yellowfin, and a 435 Everglades.  

Aside from fishing and being on the water, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, family, and dogs, cooking, and surfing. I enjoy and spend a fair amount of time, running around the back bays in my skiff looking for stripers on the flats. 

When the opportunity to join the team at SJYS came up, I knew that this was going to allow me to continue to do what I love. To me, selling boats is more than just the boat- it’s a lifestyle.  Many of my greatest memories were made on the water and I enjoy helping my clients make theirs. There are so many factors when it comes to choosing the right boat and I am here to make the process an enjoyable experience.  I have worked with all types of clients including many first-time boat buyers, as well as some of the most experienced captains on the water. I look forward to sharing my passion and beginning the journey of finding the right boat for you.

Greg

Greg was born and raised in Ambler, Pennsylvania, and spent his summers in Ocean City, New Jersey, where his lifelong passion for boating and fishing began. From a young age, he could be found casting lines off the dock, hoping to hook a striped bass or whatever fish swam through the lagoon behind his parents' home. His interest in offshore fishing took off at just eight years old during his first deep-sea fishing trip with his father aboard the Polarizer, a 1985 45’ Hatteras.

Over the last 20 years, Greg has developed a deep understanding of the boating industry. He’s gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of boat brands and models, not only through sportfishing, but also by attending major boat shows, factory tours, fishing tournaments, and industry rendezvous. These experiences have allowed him to build strong relationships with boat manufacturers, brokers, and other key professionals in the marine world.

Greg’s in-depth knowledge of boat construction, performance, and brand-specific features allows him to expertly guide buyers and sellers through every step of the boat sales process. Whether you’re looking to buy a new boat, or sell your current vessel, Greg is committed to providing personalized service and expert insight to ensure a smooth, informed, and rewarding experience.

Bill

Bill grew up on the water where he gleaned an extensive knowledge of all types of boats from hands on experience over much of his life.  He managed the family-owned marina, Cape May Marine, for 28 years before turning his full attention to yacht sales.  He has developed a strong following of loyal clients in the brokerage industry over the past 30 years and his vast knowledge of that part of the boating business helps him quickly get boats sold.  Prior to coming to South Jersey Yacht Sales, Bill had been a top producer for United Yacht Sales from 2011 to 2016.  His knowledge of marina operations, service and sales provide him with a full understanding of boat ownership and allows Bill to put his clients into the right boat.

Bill has always had a love of fishing which began with crabbing in the back bays and rivers and eventually led to a passion for the offshore waters to pursue marlin and tuna.  His fishing travels have taken him to New York, Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean, Costa Rica, and Panama and over the years he has garnered multiple tuna and marlin tournament wins along the Atlantic coast.  His years on the water fishing and boating have given Bill the knowledge and experience which he is always eager to pass on to his clients while helping them find a boat that suits their needs and budget.  

Lou

Offshore fishing on his uncle’s 44’ Egg Harbor out of Ocean City, Maryland in the late 1960’s laid the foundation for what turned out to be Lou’s extremely enjoyable and rewarding profession.  He continued boating and fishing off the mid-Atlantic coast, the Florida east coast and the Bahamas throughout the 1970’s which led Lou a life-long career in the boating industry.  In 1980, after graduating from Francis Marion University with a degree in business management, Lou took on a sales/customer service position with the Viking Yachts.  The years spent at Viking Yachts proved to be invaluable as he learned the important art of listening to customers to help deliver them the right boat for their specific needs. His experience at Viking Yachts along with his many long-term industry connections made the transition from manufacturing to retail sales seamless.

Between working at Viking Yachts and South Jersey Yacht Sales, Lou spent several years delivering a variety of vessels along the entire east coast.  He also sold boats at various boat shows for a Viking dealer in Florida.  In 1986 Lou decided to come home to southern New Jersey and settle into his 30-plus year association with South Jersey Yacht Sales.  Lou’s successful career can be attributed to his many years of experience with both the building and selling sides of the boating industry.  The management portion of Lou’s job has enabled him to gain important knowledge and relationships with many prominent boat builders. These relationships have strengthened his well-rounded brokerage sales. Most importantly, Lou’s success is based on his integrity and professionalism.
