The Hydra-Sports Vector 2596 is a high-caliber fishing boat with mega-wide 9'7" beam - Spacious, well rigged and built like a small tank. Only a few 26-footers have as much beam as the Vector 2596, and her expansive Deck layout has plenty of room for the whole team. While the wide beam adds to her popularity, it also degrades fuel efficiency and, at least to some extent, head-sea performance. Hull construction is solid fiberglass with an integral bracket / dive platform and a Kevlar-reinforced laminate. A factory T-Top and Leaning Post with bolster seating were standard, and a portable head is stashed in the Console. Additional features include a 50-gallon live well at the transom, (2) insulated fish boxes (forward), lockable rod storage, fold-away stern seat, removable cooler, Cockpit bolsters, raw water washdown, trim tabs, transom door and tackle storage drawers.
