2015 Sea Ray L590 Taken For Granite
|Osprey, FL
$885,000
TAKEN FOR GRANITE is a clean, well-maintained 2015 L590 Fly and is offered for sale for the second time since it was delivered new. This vessel is powered with triple Cummins QSC 8.3’s with 1570 hours. *Please note that all three PODs were overhauled entirely at 1300 hours to the sum of $117,000, and at the same time, the center POD transmission was replaced. This should provide the next owner with the peace of mind that overhauls have been performed, and over the next few years of ownership, the PODs should only require regular maintenance. Invoices are available, along with POD and Cummins serial numbers. For additional, more effortless docking, she has a bow thruster, and for extra comfort, she offers a Seakeeper 9.
The L590 has three staterooms, two full heads with stall showers, and a washer/dryer. The Teak decks and Teak bridge steps are in wonderful condition. She has a comfortable flybridge with well-layout seating and plenty of shade, along with bow seating and a bow sun pad. The aft deck offers comfortable seating, and the L590 has a hydraulic swim platform.
If you are looking to own an L590, please consider TAKEN FOR GRANITE. She will be a great Sea Ray L590 to own.

Salon & Galley
You enter the salon through tinted sliding patio doors. The salon is nice and bright thanks to the large hull side windows with blinds. Portside in the salon is the Samsung TV and the entertainment center; running the length of the hull in the salon are storage cabinets and a wine cooler. To the starboard is the salon sofa with 2 footrests and a rug. The interior upholstery shows very well and was updated in 2021. You will notice a veneer wooden sole in the salon that carries on into the upper galley. Access to the engine room is through the salon sole. The galley has a two-burner cooktop, convection oven, sink, storage cabinets, and pull-out drawers. The L-shaped dinette with a high gloss table is opposite the galley and behind the lower helm seats. The dinette is convenient for sitting and talking with the captain while the vessel is underway and also communicating with someone in the galley.
Lower Interior Helm
At the lower Helm are two comfortable Stidd helm chairs. All the helm rocker switches are in good condition. There is a remote pad for the remote bow light, Raymarine depth, Raymarine VHF, and two working color Raymarine touch screen E125’s with nice clear screens. The vessel’s autopilot is integrated with the PODs. The Smartcraft vessel view reads 1567 hours on the port engine, 1570 on the starboard engine, and 1512 on the center Cummins. There are fuel gauges, air-conditioning outlets, and a compass. The L590 has joystick control Smartcraft digital throttles and shifters, and a joystick for the bow thruster.
Master Stateroom & Guest Staterooms
Down and to your port side is a solid privacy door. You enter through the door and see the owner’s split bathroom, a stand-alone sink, another privacy door that gives you access to the head, and a stand-up stall shower. Walk down two steps, and you enter the fine and very comfortable master stateroom with a queen-sized bed. This elegant room has a wood panel veneer bulkhead, port, and starboard side hull windows with blinds. In the corner of the stateroom is an L-shaped corner sofa with a vanity drawer and mirror. A 40” LED flat-screen TV and a Bose speaker system for entertainment exist. In the room are two hanging closets, and concealed behind two doors are pull-out drawers and cabinets.
The vessel's side cabin is opposite the owner’s stateroom and on the starboard side. This cabin has two side-by-side bunks that will pull together to make a more extensive berth. In the side cabin is a cedar-lined closet and pull-out drawers. In this room, you will find a separate washer and dryer. This room has a Samsung TV for entertainment, a hull side window with blinds, and a solid privacy door.
Forward in the L590 is the forward berth. Like the other rooms, it also has a solid privacy door. You will see an inline queen bed with pullout drawer storage underneath and hull-side windows with blinds. Storage cabinets run along the hull sides, and the port and starboard sides in the V-berth hang cedar-lined closets. The V-berth also has its head with a privacy door. In the bathroom, there is a sink, storage area, and a stall shower.
All three rooms have their climate controls. The ship's electrical panel is accessible between the side cabin and the forward V-berth.
Skylounge And Upper Helm
You will love the bridge; it has excellent seating and layout. When you are on the bridge, you can close off the stairwell by just pulling a handle, and part of the bridge deck will pull out and cover the steps; this is a very nice safety feature, giving the owners the peace of mind that no one will tumble down the bridge steps. Aft on the bridge is wraparound seating with a Hi-Lo high gloss table that will convert into a sun lounge, and for sun protection, there is a shade system that will retract and cover the aft seats.
Portside on the bridge, you have the bridge wet bar with a sink, grill, and a fridge with some storage. On the opposite side of the bridge is an additional counter space with an ice maker underneath. In this area, you will see the Clarion stereo system. Forward on the bridge is a second dinette with a Hi-Lo high gloss table that will convert into another sun pad. Opposite is the captain’s chair and the upper helm station. Like the lower helm, all the rocker switches are in good condition. You have the Smart Craft thruster for the PODs, the Smartcraft shifters and throttles, and the joystick for the bow thruster. Both color Raymarine units power up and have good screens. You will see the remote pad for the bow light and Raymarine depth finder. Forward of the helm and dinette are additional low-profile sun seats. The L590 has a hardtop; a retractable canvas sunroof is in the hardtop.
Bow
The walk around on the L590 is comfortable, and it has a decent-sized bow rail to hold onto while navigating towards the bow. Two bow anchor lockers on the bow allow access to all chain systems. The windlass is a quick windlass. To retrieve or drop the ground tackle there are up and down windlass foot controls. You will also see the remote bow light. On the foredeck and molded into the fiberglass is a triple-wide seat and a sun pad with three cushions, two of which will convert into lounge seats. This area in the bow has cupholders, speakers and stereo system. The port side of the superstructure is a storage bin.
Deck and Cockpit
L590 Sea Ray has a hydraulic swim platform with removable tender chocks, both sides of the vessel on the transom, mounted, on the gunwales are large duty cleats and quick winches, along with hull side boarding gates. Portside on the platform are steps to the aft deck through the transom gate. On the aft deck you will see comfortable L- shape seating and a high gloss cockpit table. Access to the PODs are through the aft transom L-shape seat. Another nice feature on the L590 is the molded fiberglass steps to the bridge with a safety handrail. Installed into the side of the bridge steps is a storage bin and an Isotherm pull out fridge. The aft docking station is aft and located port side in the cockpit. The Teak on the Teak decks, swim platform and Teak bridge steps shows very well and molded into the deck sole and covered by the Teak decking is fender storage. For protection from the sun the aft fly bridge over hangs the cockpit seating. You enter the salon through three sliding tinted pocket doors.
Engine Room
You can access the engine room on the L590 through the salon sole or the aft seat on the aft deck. If you enter the engine room through the salon, you immediately see the SK9 Seakeeper. You will have easy access to the diesel fuel filters. There is a reverse oil change system. On the bulkhead are the 60-amp volt master main battery solenoid panel and breaker panel. You also have easy access to all the vessel’s batteries. On the opposite side is the Cummins 21.5 Onan generator in the sound shield. The engine room is clean. All the Cummins have been serviced after coolers were replaced at 1570 hours, PODs were rebuilt at 1300 hours, the center transmission was replaced at 1300 hours, and the fire suppression system has recently been serviced.
To access the PODs, you access the engine room through the aft deck seat. All Cummins and POD serial numbers are available, along with invoices for work performed.
