Current owner has purchased a larger boat and is highly motivated to sell this fall.

"Xanadu" was delivered in 2016 and has been in freshwater service from day one.  She's powered by twin Volvo D6 IPS 600 diesel engines (an upgrade from the standard IPS 500 configuration), and has plenty of get up and go!  The original owner ordered the boat with every factory option available and had Regal make additional changes to incorporate some personal preferences.  This is a luxury class express yacht showing pride of ownership at its highest level. Sport coupe boats are a departure from traditional express cruiser design in that they feature hardtop enclosed cockpits instead of canvas over the helm and cockpit areas. The Regal 46 goes a step further offering an optional glass-enclosed cockpit that totally eliminates the need for canvas and provides a comfortable climate-controlled pilot house under a large electrically retractable sunroof.  When conditions warrant, the all glass multi-panel aft bulkhead can be opened up to provide a cockpit much like that of a standard express cruiser.  The Regal sport coup design eliminates the never ending battle with zippers and domes, which is a major convenience, to say the least.

Another great design feature is the aft seating arrangement that can easily be reconfigured to allow access from either the port or starboard side of the swim platform - a nice convenience that allows greater flexibility in docking arrangements.  At the same time, the back rest of the center portion of the aft seating can be swung forward providing an aft-facing sun lounge.

The helm also has some unique features including a double-wide helm seat that adjusts backward and forward and up and down at the push of a button. There is also a fold-down foot-rest and a flip-up bolster that allows standing at the helm with a little extra height when docking or manoeuvring at close quarters.  A walk-through windshield provides easy access to a large foredeck chaise lounge. There is a wet bar behind the helm and built in electric grill aft of the glass bulkhead. The cockpit is single-level from transom to the cabin companionway.  Below decks are two nicely appointed staterooms, two heads, a salon and galley, all finished in black cherry, with furnishings upholstered in highly durable, 100% polyester, King Sand fabric. Countertops are solid-surface throughout the boat.

Luxury and convenience is great to have, but performance is absolutely paramount, and it doesn't get any better than the Volvo IPS 600, which is the top performer of the IPS line-up.  IPS offers much improved efficiency over traditional shaft drives, which means higher top speed (40+ mph), reduced fuel burn, much lower levels of sound and vibration and reduced emissions.

 IPS 500 was the standard propulsion system for the Regal 46 Sport Coupe.  As far as we know, this is the only Regal 46 on the market equipped with the more powerful IPS 600 system.  With Volvo's Electronic Vessel Control there is no need for physical shift and   

throttle control cables requiring periodic adjustments, and with Volvo joystick control, you can handle difficult  docking situations literally single-handed.

Bottom line, Xanadu offers her owner and guests a generous dose of luxury combined with a performance package that is second to none.
