DualGuard™ Composite Construction and SCRIMP® process. Hinckley's DualGuard™ construction has a skin coat of chopped E-glass mat in low shrink vinylester resin, an outer skin of Kevlar/E-glass, a core of end grain resin-sealed aircraft grade balsa and high-density foam, and an inner skin of carbon fiber.

FLYBRIDGE:

Forward, to starboard are the Helm station and a chart table with hidden custom, push button liquor locker is to port.  Aft is the salon area with L-shaped settees port and starboard and much more:

  • Stidd 500N helm seat is manually operated is covered in Spinneybeck Leather: RA1806 with VO-944 piping
  • The port settees have two varnished cherry-faced drawers below.  The port forward drawer is wine bottle storage.  The aft drawer is custom glass storage
  • The starboard settee has a hinged flip-out to the bottom to create a berth.  Starboard large single-drawer for custom glasses.  This settee includes storage for two chart kits.
  • At the port settee, a varnished custom owner’s signal inlay teak table with folding inboard leaf and a padded protective cover is mounted on a manual Stidd powder-counted pedestal that can lower down and form an additional bunk with cushion.

The Stidd 500N helm seat slides forward and aft, and pivots.  Forward of the helm seat is a custom built-in helm step with lift-out storage. A louvered teak door provides access to the custom storage in the helm seat base. Outboard of the helm seat there is a varnished teak shelf with fiddle which houses the Hinckley JetStick® and a cup holder.  A 12-volt outlet is near the key switch.  Gooseneck chartlight.
