Helm & Console

  • Helm Design: The helm is designed to accommodate large electronic displays and features a stainless steel steering wheel with a knob, hydraulic tilt steering with power assist, and accessory outlets (12V and USB). Older models featured a power-operated electronics enclosure that could raise and lower the instruments.
  • Head Compartment: A lockable, stand-up head compartment is integrated into the console, complete with a marine toilet (electric flush), sink, shower, mirror, and storage.
  • T-Top/Hardtop: An integrated fiberglass T-top (or Bimini top on older/optional models) provides shade and includes features like an electronics box, rod holders, LED lights, and spreader lights.

Head Compartment

The head compartment is a lockable, stand-up area within the center console designed for comfort and convenience, a departure from the more "spartan" heads found in many center consoles.

Key Features

  • Stand-up Headroom: The compartment offers sufficient height for an average adult to stand up inside, making it a comfortable changing area as well as a toilet.
  • Marine Head: It is equipped with a marine toilet that features an electric flush system. The system usually includes a 10-gallon (37.9 L) holding tank, a macerator, and the ability for both overboard discharge (where legal) and deck pump-out.
  • Freshwater Sink & Shower: The compartment includes a freshwater sink. The faucet pulls out and can be clipped into an adjustable bracket to serve as a hand-held shower head, drawing from the boat's 32-gallon freshwater tank.
  • Amenities: The space is well-finished with a composite cherry and holly sole (floor), a mirror, lighting, a console ventilator, a portlight (window), and additional bulk and netted storage drawers.
  • Access: Access to the compartment is via a lockable door on the port side of the console. Some versions also feature an access door to the helm area systems for maintenance.
