Yellow Bird is a very well kept Mainship Pilot 30 II with the Rumrunner II package. She started out in Florida for the first 2 years, moved to the Great Lakes where she spent 15 years and currently has been here in Marion, MA for 4 seasons all while being impeccably cared for by her very knowledgeable owner and first class local boatyard. The time spent in the Great Lakes has certainly perserved her handsome good looks, and the current owner has improved upon that with some very attractive updating.
Hull and Construction
Fighting Lady Yellow hull with navy blue waterline and navy blue canvas top
Stability is provided by a full keel, bronze strut, and rudder with sand shoe skeg. Hull is solid FRP with cored bulkheads and longitudinal stringers. Cored FRP decks with molded non-skid patterns. FRP bow pulpit and high-density rub rail with a striker. Stainless steel canvas support structure and aluminum radar arch. 316L stainless steel bow rail and bow protection plate.
