The Sea Ray 410 Express Cruiser is a great combination of luxurious cruiser with sleeping accommodations for six, cockpit seating for a large social crowd, fishability with its livewell and insulated fishbox, and the reliability and speed from its Cummins (450hp) diesel straight shaft Inboard engines. This boat really stands out!
Boarding the boat is easy with its adjustable steps with handrail connected to the starboard side of the large swim platform. Once on the platform, you'll see the deckplates from DinghyDavit.com for the optional tender chocks that are stored in the transom storage compartment. As you cross the platform and enter the cockpit through the portside transom door, there's a hot/cold handheld shower built in. Once in the vast cockpit, you'll notice the rear folding bench seating in front of the saltwater livewell and insulated fishbox setup for some serious offshore activities. Even if you're not into fishing, the insulated fishbox makes a great cooler. There's a large cockpit table mounted between the transom seating and the rear facing bench seat behind the helm seating.
As you walk forward along the portside, you'll see the wetbar with large undercounter storage as well as an icemaker. To starboard and one step up is the large helm bench seat with the single captain's chair. There's great 360 degree visibility from this position while also staying in the shade under the large hardtop. The dash has been updated to include the Garmin GPSMap XSV (12") MFD, Mercury Vessel View, Vetus Bow and Stern Thrusters, Raymarine VHF radio, Raymarine Autopilot, ACR Remote Spotlight as well as the tilt-wheel, analog gauges, separate throttle and shift binnacles and rocker switches for windlass, lighting, pumps, etc.
Heading down a few steps into the large cabin space through the portside sliding door, you'll be greeted with a nice saloon with L-Shaped seating and hi-lo table to starboard and a complete galley to port with a full size refrigerator/freezer, sink, microwave oven and electric three burner glass cooktop. Plenty of storage is available in the high gloss cherry cabinetry.
For sleeping accommodations, you'll be surprised that the L-Shaped seating converts to a double berth with the touch of a switch to activate the power sliding sofa. Forward, the starboard side lounge also converts to bunk beds and has a privacy door. All the way forward, you have your private master cabin with a centerline queen pedestal berth and plenty of storage, including hanging lockers. To keep all these cabin spaces clean, there's a Beam Central Vacuum System.
Entertaining is a breeze with the Bose Entertainment System with Surround Sound Speakers. There's a Fusion stereo (Model UD659) that has speakers throughout as well. Vizio flatscreen televisions are in the saloon and master stateroom. Complete the entertainment with a TracVision TV3 Satellite dome and a Glomex Analog/Digital TV Receiver on the hardtop.
The head has a Vacuflush toilet, a sink with storage above and below and a large, separate stall shower with a seat. Access is from the companionway or from the master forward.
Engine access in the cockpit is made easy by a power hatch lift. Entry is from the aft end of the engine space, going down a couple of built in steps. Service points on the Cummins engines are easily reachable and it shows really clean and appears to be well maintained. The batteries have all been replaced over the past two years. The generator was replaced in 2018 and has approximately 150 hours and sits in its hush box.
This boat also has custom rocket launchers as well as Rupp outrigger holders installed.
