COCKPIT: 

OLD FASHIONED features the traditional EP aft cockpit arrangement with a propane grill and fresh water sink located atop the engine box which also forms an aft-facing seat. Aft, a full-width settee has back and seat cushions upholstered in medium blue solid Sunbrella and a cream and blue stripe Sunbrella for the backs. This settee includes two hinged lids under the cushions to allow access to removable storage tubs and to access bilge areas. There are cup holders just forward of these cushions on either side. A cockpit cover attaches to pilothouse with snaps around cockpit coaming.

Aft, the L-shaped settee seats four easily and features a folding varnished teak table with an aluminum pedestal.  Opening side windows and four overhead hatches ensure excellent ventilation, and air conditioning with reverse cycle heat ensure comfort in heat and cold.

Access to the cabin below is through the varnished teak companionway, with removable hatch for more headroom, and down a single step. The galley is to port, private head to starboard and the V-berth forward. OLD FASHIONED’s interior features satin-varnished cherry bulkheads, trim, and ceiling boards, and a varnished teak and holly sole. An opening overhead hatch with Oceanair skyscreen/shade and opening port lights with screens ensure natural light and ventilation, amplified by air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat. Medium blue solid Sunbrella cushions compliment the cream countertop. 

 

Galley:

The stove is set in an off-white Formica countertop and has a custom wood stove cover/cutting board which adds to the already ample counter space surrounding the stainless steel sink. Microwave is outboard. The refrigeration is mounted aft of the sink and is accessed by a counter lift-up top. A pantry locker with louvered door and several shelves separates the galley from the forward V-berth area. Above is the stereo.
