This exceptional 2001 Silverton 42 Convertible is a true example of a well-cared-for, family-owned yacht that has been maintained and upgraded with pride. She is presented in immaculate condition and reflects the ownership of an experienced boater who has consistently invested in her reliability, comfort, and appearance.
Unlike many vessels of this vintage, this Silverton has benefited from a substantial amount of ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and improvements since the current owner acquired her. She has been thoughtfully cared for rather than simply maintained, making her an excellent opportunity for a buyer looking for a turnkey cruising or fishing platform without the typical list of projects associated with a yacht of this age.
The Silverton 42 Convertible is known for her spacious interior, comfortable accommodations, excellent visibility from the helm, and versatile layout. Her generous salon provides an inviting space for family and guests, while the well-appointed galley and private accommodations make extended cruising comfortable. The convertible design also offers a practical cockpit and excellent outdoor entertaining space, making her equally suited for family cruising, fishing, or relaxing weekends on the water.
The current owner’s experience and attention to detail are evident throughout the vessel. A significant investment has been made in preventative maintenance, mechanical care, and upgrades, helping ensure that the next owner can spend more time enjoying the boat and less time addressing deferred maintenance.
This Silverton has been cared for as a family yacht, with an emphasis on keeping her clean, reliable, comfortable, and ready to use. She offers the rare combination of a proven cruising design, extensive ownership history, and a level of care that is immediately apparent.
If you are searching for a Silverton 42 Convertible that has been exceptionally maintained, extensively upgraded, and is ready for her next owner, this yacht deserves serious consideration. She is a beautiful example of the model and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step aboard a well-loved and properly maintained family yacht.
