The splendid Sea Ray 510 Sundancer is turning heads the world over. As part of the proud Sundancer line, this yacht was created for performance and style. A pit group sofa with an electric slide-out bed serves as the focal point of the salon, where there's also a satellite ottoman that converts to a dining or cocktail table. The galley has a recessed three-burner cooktop, a refrigerator with freezer, microwave - convection oven, Spacemaker coffee maker and a mini bar that slides out at the touch of a button. Everything needed for extended cruises has been included without sacrificing the comforts of home, right down to a standard washer and dryer combination. The salon entertainment center features a color TV, VCR and Clarion AM-FM digital cassette and CD stereo system with a six-disc CD changer and six speakers. The entire cabin is kept comfortable year-round by a 31,000 BTU air conditioning and heating system. Above, the cockpit has a definite European flare with a sport spoiler, flip-up thigh-rise helm seat and Euro-styled companion bench seat. The U-shaped cockpit seating area with a hi-lo fiberglass table features an electrically retractable sunpad. A curved tri-section tinted-glass windshield with power vent creates an unobstructed view while increasing air flow to the helm and cockpit. Entertaining on board the 510 Sundancer is a sheer joy with a standard wetbar, icemaker, snap-in carpet liner, aft sun shade and a second Clarion AM-FM digital cassette stereo with six-disc CD changer, subwoofer, four speakers and a cockpit remote control. It's easy to overlook the abundant storage in the port and starboard panels and in the aft deck fender storage compartment. From bow to stern, this yacht was engineered for accessibility. Molded steps and a walk-through transom make passage easy in and around the boat. Even access to the bilge has been simplified with a gas-assisted service hatch and a stainless steel ladder. Serious technical systems also abound on the 510 Sundancer. Check the hydraulic power steering with the tilt wheel, the Raytheon electronics package, the Glendinning cablemaster with remote, the Lofrans Progress II all-chain windlass with its dedicated chain storage hatch, and the 11 kW Westerbeke generator inside its own sound box. Twin 582 horsepower Caterpillar V-drives ensure a smooth ride while an engine synchronizer keeps RPMs at an optimum level for better fuel efficiency. There are also twin diesel V-drive options as well as a generator upgrade, additional electronics and other options to further enhance the yacht's performance.
