George

George C Robinson IV joined South Jersey Yacht Sales after an 8-year career in Financial Services. Prior to joining SJYS, George worked with UBS’s NYC Banking Team overseeing capital lending strategies. This experience allowed for George to build strong client relationship skills. George understands what it takes to execute on client objectives and white glove deals to the finish line. His finance background can help with SJYS’s sister company Atlantic Horizon Capital. If you need yacht financing guidance, George can help. George’s goal is to accomplish the SJYS mission statement of providing the highest quality of service.

Prior to George’s professional career, he attended Germantown Academy in Fort Washington PA, and received an Economics degree from Dickinson College. He grew up spending summers in Ocean City New Jersey. Experience and contacts were established during those summers while working in local marinas and as a mate on sportfishing boats.

George is the eldest son of George and Beryl Robinson. He understands that SJYS is not just a family business, but a way of life. When George isn’t in the office, he can be found offshore fishing on the 64 Viking “Polarizer”. Aside from fishing, George is an avid skier and Philadelphia sports fan. George’s 20+ years of offshore sportfishing experience will help guide you towards the right boat. His passion for boating combined with his training and enthusiastic personality create a positive experience for his clients.

Al

Al started working weekends and summers at a large local dealership / boatyard in Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island working in every discipline of boat support services. Al eventually moved into the service department and quickly worked his way to a master-level technician. By the age of 23 he was managing the service department. Al’s career blossomed from gaining experience in the service department to eventually lead the company as general manager. During Al’s career he’s held positions at several of the largest dealerships / boatyards in South Jersey. These dealerships were awarded numerous national sales and customer service awards.

Precious free time is spent with his wife Laura, their sons, two grandchildren and Eli the family Yellow Lab. 

George

As owner and president  of South Jersey Yacht Sales since 2017, George Robinson is extremely proud to represent New Jersey and the surrounding regions as a dealer for Albemarle, Invincible, Jupiter Marine, Yellowfin Yachts and Viking Yachts and most recently by expanding their brand portfolio to include Valhalla Boatworks.  These renowned brands represent the highest quality, innovative, leading edge sportfishing vessels available on the market today and are found in the winner’s circle time and time again at the largest, most prestigious billfish tournaments in the world and are also a familiar sight to recreational fisherman in the northeast and beyond.   As an avid third generation angler and boater for well over 40 years, George brings to the marine industry a passion and desire to make your next purchase an enjoyable experience and is also eager to share his insights on boats, fishing and destinations. 

George is married to his wonderful wife Beryl who was born and raised in Ocean City, New Jersey.  Their relationship ironically began on the water as Beryl would patiently wait dockside while George cleaned the boat and rigged baits for the next day of offshore fishing.  The Robinson’s have three sons who are very accomplished in their own right.  Their oldest, George, and youngest, Greg, share the same passion for offshore marlin fishing and boating, while their middle son, Grant, loves the travel and destinations the family visits aboard Polarizer, the 62’ Viking Convertible which is also the South Jersey Yacht Sales demo vessel.
