Currently docked in her well-protected, fixed concrete slip in the highly regarded Windmill Harbour Yacht Basin on Hilton Head Island, SC. This is a gated community that is also home to the South Carolina Yacht Club. Windmill Harbour Marina is a locked harbor, meaning that it is only accessible through a 20′ X 80′ lock. This allows for a consistent water level with little-to-no tidal fluctuation and bath-tub calm, protected water. Fresh ground water was struck when the basin was dug and therefore the water withing Windmill Harbour is brackish.
