The Silverton 38 Convertible is part of the evolution in design and manufacturing that Silverton has been experiencing for the past several years. In regards to power this Bertram 60 comes with the preferred power package, a pair of Caterpillar 3412s (3JK) Diesel Engines rated at 1300 HP each at 2300 RPM..  Low hours (2331 hours at the time of this listing). 1000 hour service completed (both mains and generators) in the spring of 2022 to include:

2000 Mainship 390 Trawler, Powered with optional Twin Yanmar 4LHA-STP 230hp ea Diesel engines. Both include freshwater cooling, an engine alarm system and a standard fire extinguisher system, and an Oil extraction pump plumbed for both engines. She was a Freshwater boat kept on the Hudson River up until 2021 and now located in Toms River NJ.

Inside the spacious cabin, for example, is a lower helm station that’s complete with full instrumentation and a windshield equipped with wipers and washers. The salon features warm teak highlighted by designer fabrics, a color television and VCR, a stereo, and opening windows with screens. Deck access is made easy for shorthanded cruising with a starboard helm sliding door. There is also a large screened sliding door to the cockpit. 

The 390 Trawler’s galley is equipped for cruising or entertaining with a range, an oven, a microwave, a full-size refrigerator, an oversize sink, abundant cabinets and Corian countertops. The large master stateroom has a center island bed, cedar-lined hanging lockers, an opening portlight and hatch, and again more storage. For guests, a second stateroom features twin berths along with a hanging locker, storage, an opening hatch and a portlight. And finally, the easy cleaning, molded fiberglass head offers a built-in vanity, a shower, an electric marine toilet, an opening hatch, a portlight and a mirror. 

On the flybridge there is a large area for entertaining or lounging, seating for more than six, and a drop-leaf table. The center helm has great visibility, full instrumentation and plenty of room for electronics (note the radar mast). This deck is reached by a wide, molded stairway with a full handrail. Access forward to the anchor is protected by a high bulwark and a walk-around deck. In the cockpit there is more than ample storage with deep wells and a lazarette.

NEW ARRIVAL Silverton 37 Convertible.

PowerBoat Guide had this to say; With her rakish appearance, affordable price, and spacious interior, the 37 Convertible was a highly successful boat for Silverton during the 1990s. (An earlier Silverton 37 Convertible was produced from 1980–89.) Built on a solid fiberglass, modified-V hull with a wide beam and prop pockets to reduce draft, Silverton offered this model with “convertible” and “midcabin” interiors. (Note that the original floorplans were updated in 1993.) The convertible layout contains a single private stateroom forward with the galley and dinette down, while the midcabin features a small guest stateroom with over/under berths opposite the galley. A separate stall shower is found in the double-entry head, and the decor is a tasteful blend of teak or light oak trim and inexpensive fabrics. While the 37 is more family cruiser than fishboat, the cockpit is roomy enough for a couple of light-tackle anglers and features an in-deck fish box and a transom door. Additional features include wide side decks, wraparound lounge seating on the bridge, bow pulpit, a well-arranged engine room, and sidedumping exhausts. No racehorse, standard 320hp gas engines cruise the Silverton 37 at 15–16 knots (mid 20s top).
