Just arrived at Canyon Club Resort & Marina in Cape May!!!

The Viking 54 Convertible continues Viking’s dominance in the mid-size convertible sportfishing category, combining cutting-edge engineering, exceptional performance, and refined luxury. Designed as a three-stateroom, two-head open bridge yacht, the 54 delivers tournament-ready fishability while offering the comfort and style expected from a world-class cruising yacht.

Her unmistakable Viking profile features a sleek S-shaped sheer line, aggressively raked bow, and sculpted hull lines that blend form with offshore performance. The hull is constructed using vacuum-infused fiberglass composites with vinylester resin, creating a lightweight yet incredibly strong structure. Structural bulkheads and fuel tanks are also resin-infused, and the hull-to-deck joint is through-bolted and fiberglassed for maximum strength and durability.

The 154-square-foot cockpit is designed for serious sportfishing, with molded non-skid decking, large scuppers for rapid drainage, and optional teak finishes. A walk-through transom door, insulated fish boxes, livewell options, and reinforced mounting points for fighting chairs or rocket launchers give anglers the tools they need to compete at the highest level. A raised mezzanine provides comfortable seating for guests along with convenient storage for tackle, bait, and refreshments.

Up top, the flybridge offers a walk-around center console with 360-degree visibility, flush-mounted electronics, and ergonomic helm controls with Optimus electronic power steering for precise handling. Guest seating and storage areas make the bridge equally comfortable for cruising or fishing.

Inside, the salon takes full advantage of the yacht’s 17’8″ beam, creating a spacious living area with a port-side lounge and galley, and a starboard dinette. Premium finishes such as high-gloss teak or walnut, plush carpeting, LED lighting, and climate-controlled comfort create a luxurious onboard environment. The galley is fully equipped with Sub-Zero refrigeration, stone countertops, an electric cooktop, and convection microwave.

Below deck, the three-stateroom layout includes a port-side master with a walk-around queen berth, a forward VIP stateroom, and a starboard bunk room, perfect for family or guests. Two well-appointed heads feature electric toilets and large walk-in showers with glass enclosures.

From its tournament-ready cockpit to its elegant interior accommodations, the Viking 54 Convertible delivers the perfect balance of performance, luxury, and offshore capability.

The Viking Yacht Company has led the marine industry since 1964 in all aspects of boat design and construction, committed to producing innovative new yachts on a consistent basis. So it should come as no surprise that for every new Viking introduced, their in-house design and engineering teams have other models waiting for their turn in the spotlight.  Such is the case with their Billfish series. It is with great pride that Viking introduces their 46 Billfish.

Viking’s history has been to give their owners room to grow within a particular Viking family of boats, whether they’re talking about Vikings convertibles, or their open express and sport boats or motor yachts.  Now they’re simply following through with this type of product growth and diversity with the Billfish. Viking is sure these boats will meet and exceed all expectations.

The 46 Billfish will excel as either an owner/operator or captained Viking. Offering simplicity and ease of maintenance, she’s a ready-to-go fishing machine equipped for inshore and offshore missions as well as a versatile cruising boat with reliable inboard diesel power.

Cockpit & Command Deck – The 140-square-foot Cockpit has room for the entire crew or family. The Cockpit sole is built with a laminated in-deck mounting plate for fighting chair, rocket launcher or table installations. Standard equipment and features include a Cockpit bait freezer with upper tray, in-deck insulated fish boxes port and starboard with overboard drainage, a walk-through transom door and lift gate, a transom fish box and live well, rod holders, tackle storage and fresh and sea-water wash downs. Two-person, Mezzanine-style seats flank the centerline walkthrough, and there’s refrigerated drink storage in the starboard Mezzanine step, as well as ample general stowage throughout.

The 46 Billfish’s Command Deck can be completely enclosed and is climate-controlled. It’s perfect for anglers who want to get off their feet and cool down as the boat moves from one spot to the next. The Command Deck features a Salon-like living area with a roomy U-shaped lounge and Hi-Lo table and a lounge that extends along the starboard side. Both seating areas hold rod storage underneath.

Like Viking’s legendary Viking Convertibles, the 46 Billfish’s Flybridge is designed with a tournament-style Center Console walk-around Helm. The 46 Billfish has Palm Beach-style controls and power-assist hydraulic steering. Seating includes a single Release Marine teak chair (a second Helm chair is optional) and lounges to port and starboard and a forward console seat. Viking’s subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics can build and install a complete package of navigation and communication equipment to deliver the boat turnkey ready.

Accommodations – Rest up and recharge in the 46 Billfish’s air-conditioned Cabin. Featuring high-gloss teak cabinetry and custom Amtico flooring, the fully appointed starboard-side Galley has an L-shaped Corian countertop, a two-burner electric stove, a microwave oven / convection oven, cabinet storage and under-counter drawer-style refrigeration with a built-in ice maker. The private Head, which is conveniently located immediately to port of the Companionway stairs, has a large walk-in shower with satin nickel fixtures, an attractive Corian-topped vanity with sink and storage and a medicine cabinet with mirrored doors. Easily accessible upper and lower bunks on the port side await weary anglers, and there’s a hanging locker only a few steps away. The first-class accommodations continue in the private Forward Stateroom, with its island queen bed, a hanging locker, upper storage cabinetry and a flat-screen TV with stereo, speakers and DVD player.

Efficient and Durable – As Viking continues to develop the Billfish series, their building methods and materials have gained efficiency, which adds even more value to these boats. A modified vinylester resin is used in the entire hull skin. End-grain balsa and closed-cell foam are used as coring materials in selected areas for optimized strength and stiffness while minimizing weight. The integral fiberglass fuel tank, sealed to the hull with resin foam, is resin infused with balsa coring on all sides for stiffness. The hull-to-deck joint is mechanically fastened every three inches and fiberglassed inside.

Viking Engineering – The Billfish is designed and built with many of the same mechanical systems, components and technologies found on larger Vikings. Examples include the Delta-T Engine Room ventilation system and a fire suppression system that’s automatically or manually operated and tied into the main engine and generator ignitions.  Running gear includes Class “S” pitch tolerance propellers with dynamic balancing and bronze struts, seacocks and rudders.

The Engine Room, Lazarette and forward bilges are painted with Snow White Awlgrip for increased visibility and ease of maintenance. A large centerline hatch gives you quick access to the engines and optional Seakeeper SK 6 gyro. Twin Cummins QSM11 715 MHP diesels provide the standard power for the 46 Billfish, while twin MAN I6-800 CRM 800 MHP are optional.

The second-generation Viking 70 Convertible is a four-stateroom, five-head bluewater sportfisher built to compete and win on the tournament circuit. Drawing on the proven DNA of Viking’s 74, 82, and 90 Convertibles, the 70 benefits from decades of refinement by the same core design, engineering, and production team that has shaped over 80 Viking models across three decades.

Featuring a refined hull with improved ride quality, the 70 runs three inches narrower than the Gen II 68, with precise adjustments to deadrise, chine placement, and strake geometry delivering a smooth, dry, and efficient offshore ride. The lengthened cockpit provides maximum working room during the heat of battle, engineered into the hull from the keel up to maintain proper running attitude, trim, and balance. Above, the thoughtfully redesigned flybridge offers outstanding aft visibility with a repositioned helm console, flush-mounted electronics, three helm chairs, and generous lounging for owner and guests alike.

Below decks, horizontal-grain walnut millwork flows through every surface, crafted entirely at Viking’s in-house woodworking facility, the Mill. The flexible salon is available in peninsula or island galley configurations, while a portside L-shaped settee and raised starboard dinette create comfortable spaces for relaxing between runs. A conveniently located dayhead sits just inside from the cockpit, a feature serious offshore anglers will appreciate on long tournament days. The spacious master stateroom, forward VIP, and well-appointed guest staterooms offer comfort befitting an extended bluewater passage, while the private aft crew stateroom with direct engine room access supports tournament campaigns and long-range cruising alike.

Engine options, the MAN V12X 2200 or MTU 12V2000 M96Z, each producing over 2,200 MHP, target a top speed of approximately 43 knots, backed by Viking’s Advanced Propulsion System featuring flow-aligned rudders, struts, propeller pockets, and electronic power steering. The engine room is finished in Snow White Awlgrip for maximum visibility and is equipped with a Spot Zero watermaker, ElectroSea raw-water treatment, and Viking’s ventilation and fire suppression systems, all engineered for easy maintenance on extended offshore adventures.

Available as an Open Bridge with Palm Beach Towers tuna tower, Enclosed Bridge, or Sky Bridge, the Viking 70 Gen II Convertible makes its world premiere at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the next chapter in a legacy built on performance, craftsmanship, and the relentless pursuit of a better boat.
