The Formula 400 Super Sport is an American-built entry into the high-performance luxury sport boat market dominated in recent years by a handful of pricey European imports. Long and narrow, the 400 is built on Formula’s “Fas3Tech” hull bottom—a double- stepped deep-V designed to reduce the water’s grip on the hull. The result, according to company engineers, is a faster and more stable boat that runs at near-optimal running angles without the need to constantly trim the drives. Beautifully styled, the Super Sport is a superb day boat with plenty of cockpit space and a wide- open interior. With the owner’s stateroom aft, a rich Ultraleather wraparound lounge forward and four overhead translucent hatches dominate the salon. On deck, the double-wide helm seat folds away for stand-up driving, and a walk-through windshield opens

to a wide stretch of nonskid leading to the bow. Notable features include a recessed anchor storage compartment, a hinged storage locker at the transom, and good engine access.

The Formula 40 is a premium offshore express designed for those who place a priority on luxury and performance. There are no decals on the 40 PC—Formula is the only builder in this class that offers standard Imron hull graphics. With 6’7″ of headroom below, the cabin accommodations are a tasteful blend of high-gloss cherry cabinetry, Ultraleather upholstery, and high-end appliances and furnishings. The crescent-shaped dinette features a solid cherry table and two fixed stools, and the Formula’s fully equipped galley includes a round stainless steel sink, under-counter refrigeration, tons of storage, and Corian countertop. Aft of the salon and down a step, the spacious mid-cabin area boasts a convertible U-shaped lounge with seating for six. A forward privacy curtain is standard in the Formula 40 PC . A walk-thru windshield provides easy access to the foredeck, and the U-shaped aft cockpit lounge converts to a huge sun pad. The extended swim platform will support a PWC. 

The Formula 370 Super Sport is a sleek, aggressively styled sport cruiser with an enviable combination of superior construction, first-rate accommodations and excellent open-water performance. She’s basically a Euro-style sportboat with considerably more cockpit space—and less interior volume—than traditional express cruisers. Performance is important in a boat like this, and the
370’s narrow beam and high-speed stepped hull deliver the fast ride and luxurious accommodations that few other sportboats can match. Her spacious and well-equipped cockpit provides seating and amenities for a small crowd. A removable cocktail table stores in a transom storage locker, and a cockpit galley comes complete with a sink, cooler and refrigerator. The cabin of the 370—among the more impressive in her class—includes a wraparound V-berth/ dinette forward, mid-berth cabin aft, and a compact galley to port with stove and refrigerator. Additional features include a walk- through windshield, transom shower, tilt steering, and a flip-up bolster seat at the helm. Fit and finish is very good.

“Carolina Girl” is a beautifully maintained 2005 “Sabre” Sabreline 47 Aft Cabin – an ideal choice for Loopers seeking comfort, performance, and timeless Downeast style. Powered by twin Yanmar 500HP diesels, she cruises smoothly at 20 knots with exceptional stability thanks to her fully-cored modified-V hull. This model offers a classic two-stateroom, two-head layout with a galley-down configuration, providing a warm, traditional interior finished in rich mahogany and custom upholstery. Notable for her spacious aft stateroom with direct cockpit access and scenic flybridge, “Carolina Girl” blends rugged seakeeping with refined cruising comfort. Carver hit a “Home Run” with the 444 Cockpit Motor Yacht. The popularity can be attributed to the wide-open floor plan inside and out. The overused terminology, ” user friendly”, would be a big understatement here, where it is so easy to get around on the boat. Power Boat Guide states, “No other cockpit yacht her size can match the 444 for interior space and comfort, and none has a larger cockpit. Stepping below, the enormous full-beam interior of the Carver 444– made possible by raising the side decks to eye level –comes as a surprise. With its panoramic views and nearly seven feet of headroom, the salon dimensions are those of a much larger boat.” They go on to boast on the spacious design and layout of the bridge with salon seating and wet bar. The aft deck has wing doors forward to access the foredeck and molded fiberglass stairs to the cockpit.  The cockpit can also be reached through a sliding glass door in the master stateroom. More importantly this entry level door is within 4 feet of the head and shower. The 444 is a great swim/dive platform with a transom door to keep the little ones in and a transom shower to keep them out (until they rinse off).   This Carver has low engine hours (425 hrs) on the high-performance 370 HP Volvo Diesel TAMD 63s. She is kept in fresh water and in a covered slip. She is clean and not full of clutter. This one is worth seeing.
