The Formula 400 Super Sport is an American-built entry into the high-performance luxury sport boat market dominated in recent years by a handful of pricey European imports. Long and narrow, the 400 is built on Formula’s “Fas3Tech” hull bottom—a double- stepped deep-V designed to reduce the water’s grip on the hull. The result, according to company engineers, is a faster and more stable boat that runs at near-optimal running angles without the need to constantly trim the drives.
