Vessel Overview

"Joans Rondezvous" is a 2018 Hinckley Picnic Boat MKIII, powered by twin 435-hp Volvo diesel engines, delivering an exhilarating 35-knot cruise and reaching nearly 40 knots at wide-open throttle.

This highly sought-after model strikes an exceptional balance between luxury, craftsmanship, and performance—equally suited for relaxed harbor cruising or extended weekend escapes. Equipped with gyro stabilization for enhanced comfort underway, a full suite of modern electronics, and the timeless quality synonymous with Hinckley Yachts, "Joans Rondezvous" offers a refined on-water experience.

Originally delivered with a comprehensive Hinckley YachtCare package, she has been maintained to the highest standards and presents as a truly turnkey opportunity—ready for immediate enjoyment by her next discerning owner.

Deck & Hull Overview

Deck & Hull

"Joans Rondezvous" features Hinckley DualGuard Composite Construction, combining a Kevlar/E-glass hybrid outer skin with an aircraft-grade end-grain balsa core below the waterline and a carbon-fiber inner skin. The hull and deck are SCRIMP®-laminated using vinylester resin, resulting in exceptional strength, durability, and weight efficiency. The deck and cockpit incorporate E-glass with balsa and closed-cell foam coring for added rigidity and comfort.

Finished in a striking Flag Blue Awlgrip marine coating hull, she is complemented by a cream gelcoat cabin house, cream non-skid decks, and a matching double bootstripe. The bottom is protected with Micron Red Ultra antifouling paint.

Below the waterline, Marelon ball-valve seacocks and thru-hulls provide corrosion-resistant reliability, with Marelon fittings continued above the waterline. A molded fiberglass rub rail with stainless steel half-round ensures durability alongside docks.

A heavy-duty fiberglass swim platform—professionally painted in Spring 2025—features a custom teak overlay with black caulking, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. The platform is supported by a stainless steel bracket and finished with a stainless half-round. A telescoping three-step stainless steel swim ladder folds neatly beneath the platform for easy access.

A custom fore-and-aft teak decking package with black caulking extends across the swim platform, adding a cohesive and upscale finish.

Deck Features

The foredeck is equipped with a flush anchor locker featuring a hinged hatch and fold-out anchor roller. A polished stainless steel Delta anchor is deployed via a 12V windlass with controls at the helm and a handheld wireless remote, paired with 25 feet of chain and 150 feet of rode.

Signature Hinckley Yachts craftsmanship is evident throughout, including a varnished teak toe rail, eyebrow molding, and a full teak trim package encompassing the dash, pilothouse liners, and cockpit coamings.

The pilothouse is designed for comfort and visibility, offering large opening side windows, two stainless steel electrically actuated hatches with powered Ocean Air SkyScreens, and a color-matched mast with radome.

Safety and functionality are enhanced by stainless steel handrails, custom 316L stainless steel bow chocks, and strategically placed mooring cleats—including pop-up midship cleats easily accessed from the cockpit. Additional thoughtful features include:

  • Four elliptical ports with an opening port in the head
  • Fender padeyes with toe rail chafe protection
