The Formula 40 PC is premium offshore express designed for those who place a priority on luxury and performance. there are no decals on the 40 PC- Formula is the only builder in this class that offers standard Imron hull graphics. With 6'7" of headroom below, the cabin accommodations are a tasteful blend of high-gloss cherry cabinets, Ultraleather upholstery, and high end appliances and furnishings. The crescent-shaped dinette features a solid cherry table and two fixed stools, and the Formula's fully equipped galley includes a round stainless steel sink, under-counter refrigeration, tons of storage and Corian countertop. Aft of the salon and down a step, the spacious mid-cabin area boasts a convertible U-shaped lounge with seating for six. A forward privacy curtain was standard in the Formula 40 PC until 2004 when hidden pocket doors offered improved stateroom seclusion. A walk-thru windshield provides easy access to the foredeck, and the U-shaped aft cockpit lounge converts to a huge sun pad. The extended swim platform will support a PWC. Yanmar 420hp V-Drive diesels cruise at 22-24 knots (Low 30's top). Volvo D67hp IPS pod drives (30kts cruise/34-35top) became standard in 2013.
