With her "floating" fiberglass hardtop, the styling of the Maxum 4200 Sport Yacht was cutting-edge in the early 2000's. Without the hardtop, the 4200 might easily be confused with a European sport boat; with it however, the visual impact is striking. Built on a beamy Modified-V Hull with an integrated swim platform, the Two-Stateroom, Two-Head interior of the 4200 is much more spacious than most of her European counterparts. High-gloss cherry joinery, teak and holly flooring and ultra-leather upholstery combine to give the Salon a rich and fairly elegant ambiance. Privacy doors separate both Staterooms from the Salon, and the Forward Head is fitted with a separate stall shower. In the Cockpit, the arching side windows and elevated hardtop provide plenty of protection from sun and wind. Molded steps in the transom corners lead up to the side Decks, and the aft seating section rises hydraulically for engine access.
