2004 Contender 31 Open… A proven tournament winner, the Contender 31 Open is a brawny, top-quality fisherman whose meticulous finish and high-performance capabilities placed her in the forefront of large center console fishing machines. The high-tech hull is vacuum bagged and cored above the waterline with wide reverse chines and two lifting strakes per side to provide a dry ride. A single-level cockpit makes the Contender an easier boat to move around than those center consoles with larger consoles. Features include an integrated dive platform with ladder, two 40-gallon livewells, transom door, deluxe leaning post with rod holders and tackle center, in-deck fish boxes (two fully lined 400-qt. boxes forward, two 225-Qt. boxes aft), recessed bow rails, raw-water washdown, gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage, recessed trim tabs, walk-in console with marine head, cockpit bolsters and an anchor locker. A fast ride in the most challenging conditions.
