The Hydra-Sports 2796 Vector is one serious fishing machine. With a range of more than 500 miles at best cruising speed, this boat can make it to the kingfisher grounds and back. In the bow are two 340-quart fish boxes with reinforced lids and overhead drains, and at the stern is a 50-gallon baitwell with a light, a cutting board, and a high capacity pump. The center console has a lockable section for electronics, a full-sized windshield, and a stainless steel grab rail all-around. Inside the console is room for a portable head and assorted storage. The boat is built of hand-laid fiberglass lamination using low VOC gelcoat, pre-cut biaxial fabric, woven roving and Kevlar reinforcement. The 2796 Vector has a limited warranty that covers the hull for ten years and most parts for three. The hull warranty is transferable and non-prorated.
With twin 225 hp Evinrudes, 270 gal. fuel and 650 lb. load, cruising speed is 28 mph and top speed is 54 mph. Range is based on same configuration. Johnson engines also available.
