Whether fully equipped with the enclosures or with the optional aft deck hardtop and arch, owners will notice there's plenty of room to roam topside. As roomy below as it is above, the 406's salon includes an L-shaped Flexsteel sofa with double incliners and a love seat. There's an adjacent entertainment center with a TV and a VCR, and even an optional home rack stereo system with its receiver, dual cassette, and CD player. Aft, the 406 features a magnificent stateroom that includes an oversized queen berth, inner-spring mattress, abundant storage space, a large hanging locker and plenty of walk-around room. Add the convertible dinette, and a comfortable forward stateroom, and the 406 can easily accommodate a party of seven.

The Carver 406 Aft Carver (called the Carver in 1999-2022) is a heavily built double cabin motoryacht with an appealing blend of space, comfort and value.  She's actually a repackaged version of Carver's earlier 370 Aft Cabin (1990-96) with slightly updated styling and a new intergrated swim platform.  Below, the comfortable galley-down interior of the Carver 406 features a spacious main salon with an L-shaped Flexsteel sofa to port .  A serving counter overlooks a well lit galley with Corian counters, hardwood flooring, and a full size refrigerator.  The master stateroom has an offset queen berth, storage lockers, and private head with stall shower.  The forward stateroom has an offset double berth and private access to the day head.  A choice of light oak, cherry or maple interior wood accents were available.  Wing doors and  molded fiberglass steps provide easy access to the large swim platform.  A good sea boat!
