Boarding the Viking Princess V50 is safe and easy with access via the swim platform. step into the cockpit through the transom door and access the main salon through a full-glass sliding door. The contemporary design of the vessel yields bright open spaces. The salon contains a large U-shaped dining area and loveseat that can be converted to make an extra bed for guests. For entertaining, a cocktail peninsula and 2nd refrigerator are provided. There is generous cabinet storage as well as under-seat storage. Full-length windows with privacy blinds offer a light and bright interior. Forward, you'll find the galley to port and the main helm to starboard. The galley contains a built-in convection microwave oven, three-burner electric stovetop, solid-surface counters, stainless steel sink, a hidden trash bin under the cutting board, and lots more storage. oposite the galley is the raised main helm with comfortable seating for two and access to the vessels's controls and navigation instruments. The newly upgraded Garmin nav system includes two 12" touchscreen multifunction chartplotters, dome radar, depth sounder, AIS, and autopilot. A new ICOM VHF radio provides a secondary AIS receiver with an LCD display of nearby vessels. An integrated Garmin stereo can also be controlled from the displays. The fully-integrated Garmin system will be a highpoint for the new captain of this vessel.
Stepping down from the salon, there is a very large storage area above the integrated washer/dryer. Guest accommodations are found to starboard and the stateroom contains twin beds, closet, and drawer storage. Adjoining the stateroom through a privacy door is a full bathroom with separate shower and electric Vacu-Flush head. This bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway as a day head.
Full forward is the main stateroom with a centerline island queen bed with large drawers for storage. Adjoining the suite is a full private bathroom with generous-sized walk-in shower and electric Vacu-Flush head. There is ample storage in the owner's suite with two closets, drawers, and ceiling drop-cabinets.
Leaving aft from the salon to the cockpit, you'll find access to the flybridge via molded fiberglass stairs with teak overlays for footing security. On the bridge there is seating for two at the helm and seating for guests on the large U-shaped bench with a table. The upper helm has two new 12' Garmin touchscreen chartplotters with complete access and control of the vessel's navigation system and engine controls. The flybridge also includes a cushioned sundeck and electric cold storage box.
