The Back Cove 26 is a fantastic vessel, offering her owners and guests features which are traditionally only found in larger vessels. Bow & stern thrusters, an anchor windlass, full galley with enclosed head, and functional side decks are a few of her positive attributes. This vessel has been very well kept by her knowledgeable owners, and presents quite well for her age.
Her helm deck is covered by a Sunbrella top, She has two captain's chairs on swivels - one for the helmsman to enjoy while piloting, and one for the mate to keep a lookout. Her aft cockpit is spacious for her size, and offers additional seating.
Stepping below into the cabin, you are greeted by the warm appointments which make Back Cove famous. Forward, there is a table which offers seating on either side in the bow. This table converts down to make a berth if overnight accommodation is needed. Aft of the settees is a large enclosed wet head to starboard, which offers hot & cold pressurized water, shower, and marine head. Storage may be found throughout. Opposite the head is the galley which features a stainless steel sink, single burner stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, and good storage.
The style and grace of the Maine lobster boat has been admired by boating enthusiasts the world over. No builder blends the classical looks with modern construction better than Back Cove Yachts. As spirited as she is beautiful, the new Back Cove 26 will cruise at 22 knots and provide a dry, comfortable ride. She is a joy to operate and a pleasure to own.
